The main festival celebrated by Neervilakom community is "Uthram Maholsavam", the annual festival of Sree Dharma Shasta temple during March / April. Eleven days of festival, starts with “kodiyettam’ followed by many cultural and traditional programs. The main attractions of this festival are "Utsava bali", 'Pallivilakku", "Pallivetta", "Kaavadiyattam" and "Aaraattu". Velakali is one of the main cutural programmes conducted during Uthram. Fire works (Vedikkettu) is also there in almost all the days of the festival. The 1741 No NSS Karayogam, Neervilakom is conducting the festival under the guidance of Thantri Kandararu Neelakandararu, Kandararu Raajeevaru & Brahmasree Dr. M.S.Nampoothiri.

The second main festival conducted at Sree Dharmasastha Temple is "Sree Bhagavatha Parayana Yagnjam (sapthaham)", celebrated during January / February. Festival includes "Bhagavatha paaraayanam" followed by religious speeches, cultural and traditional programs. The main attraction of the sapthaham is Rukmini swayam varam and samoohasadhya. Seven days of festival ends with Araattulsavam in which thousands of believers take part. The 1741 No NSS Karayogam, Neervilakom is conducting the "Sapthaaha yagnam"


The third main festival is "Sree Bhagavath Geetha Njana Yagnjam", conducted by Haindava Seva Samithi, Neervilakom, led by Swami Vedananda Sarawathi. It is celebrated every year during the first weeks of May. Seven days of festival includes Geetha Classes, Quiz Competitions, Arts programs by geetha students, Religious speeches. "Hindu madha sammelanam" is conducted on the very next day after the Geetha Njana yagnam. Religious speeches by various hindu leaders is the main attraction of "Hindu matha sammelanam"


Other than Sree Dharmashastha temple, Nilakkal Kudumba Maha Temple celebrates its annual festival during Shivarathri. Kuttamathu murthi temple celebrates its annual festival during Pathamudayam.

Neervilakom St: Gregorious Orthodox Church celebrates its annual festival (Perunnal) during March and April months.

Neervilakom St: Gregorious Church celebrating it's second Perunnal at the month of november (the remembrence of Parumala Thirumeni).
